Your personal information is collected and held by Queen Migration Pty Ltd (ABN 40 682 355 755) trading as My Kerb, based in Werribee, VIC (contact: info@mykerb.com.au). We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect only what we need to deliver our services:
Directly from you when you book, request a quote, create an account, or contact us. Automatically through our website. From our contractors, in the form of job notes and photographs taken during service.
Contractors assigned to your job receive the service address, service type, scheduled time and any access or hazard notes. They do not receive your payment details.
Service providers that help us operate: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (website hosting), Google Maps (address lookup).
We never sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the safety of any person.
Some of our service providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and European Union. By using our services you consent to this disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We take before and after photographs, and occasionally video, of work areas. These are used for quality assurance, invoicing, dispute resolution, and to promote our services.
Marketing use — and how to opt out. By booking a service you agree that we may use images and video of the work performed at your property in our marketing, including on our website, social media and advertising.
Before any image is used for marketing we de-identify it. We do not publish your name, street address, house number, or any other detail that could identify you or your property, and we exclude people, pets, vehicles, registration plates and personal belongings.
We will always ask for your separate written permission before publishing any image that identifies you or your property, or any image taken inside your home.
Photographs stored in your private customer portal are visible only to you and to authorised staff — these are never shared publicly regardless of your marketing preference.
We retain your personal information for as long as you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can service warranty claims, resolve disputes, and meet our tax, insurance and legal record-keeping obligations.
We protect your information using encrypted transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication, role-based access controls so staff and contractors see only what they need, and private per-customer photo storage. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. In the event of an eligible data breach we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Email info@mykerb.com.au for any of the above. We aim to respond within 30 days. There is no charge to make a request.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
Our services are directed at property owners and occupiers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at info@mykerb.com.au — we take privacy complaints seriously and will investigate promptly.
